Starting Sunday, May 25

9:30am – Worship

11am – Sunday Learning

The Board of Worship in conjunction with church staff has initiated a change in the Sunday morning schedule: to reverse the order of Worship and Sunday Learning. This decision was made with the intent of better aligning our ministry goals with the realities of participation, volunteer engagement, and worship quality. This timing allows our volunteers to rehearse or prepare for worship AND participate in Sunday Learning. By placing Worship first, we aim to create a natural flow into the Sunday Learning hour, encouraging more people to remain on-site and engage in small groups, classes, and discipleship opportunities. Beginning the morning in worship can set a tone that enhances engagement during Sunday Learning. This change reflects a thoughtful approach to how our time together on Sundays can be structured to deepen both worship and learning. We acknowledge there have been a lot of worship time changes in the last few years and the desire for consistency; therefore this new schedule has been created with longevity in mind.

For the summer, abbreviated Sunday Learning offerings will be available for children and adults. Pastor Will will lead discussion and reflection on the day’s scripture in the Sanctuary and there will be a weekly craft and snacks available for children and youth. Keep an eye out for a full slate of classes for all ages starting Sunday, August 17.
