The goal of the St. Mark’s Prayer Ministry is to encourage a more robust prayer discipline. To that end, our prayer ministry has undergone a few changes and will now provide weekly opportunities for all subscribers to pray for joys, concerns, and sorrows of the church. We want to encourage folks to share their prayer concerns, requests, and thanksgivings and invite our church body to pray for each other.
How it works:
- Submit your prayers by email at [email protected]; by call or visits during the week; text messages to staff; or on the pew pad submitted during worship
- Prayer requests are subject to verification of accurate information, if necessary
- All requests, unless otherwise specified, will only remain on the prayer list for three weeks before being removed
- Prayer requests may be shared in a one-time email, the weekly email, bulletin, and prayers of intercession during worship unless a specific request is made
A weekly email (on Wednesdays) will be sent to all subscribers of the prayer ministry listing prayer concerns, joys, and sorrows. Prayer petitions may include, but are not limited to upcoming church member birthdays, celebrations and thanksgivings, prayer suggestions for local, national, and international concerns, and submitted prayer requests, detailed briefly with actual concern. One-time emails will still be shared with the subscribers of the prayer ministry in a timely manner. If you have any questions or would like to be a subscriber to the St. Mark’s Prayer Ministry, please email [email protected]
